"That ain't Meow Mix!" says Vinnie, a fat cat who prowls the Hollywood Hills. The owner of this two-pound platter of unpressed hash was en route to a local med-pot dispensary to make a delivery, but decided to haul out his merchandise so the orange feline could take a closer look.
UsualLy, good police work involves stakeouts, tracking leads and dogged determination. But sometimes the process is easier—and far more painful. If Barry Bonds were a bong, this is what he’d look like. In fact, this bong could probably climb the Empire State Building. Sky Glass of Eugene, OR, manufactured this eight-foot monstrosity. It’s crafted with 90-millimeter heavy-wall tubing and is fully functional.
Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich has announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination once again. He may be overshadowed by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama right now, but his agenda deserves a closer look, especially on the part of the marijuana community.

I am not Chef RA. That’s my mantra today. Those are big shoes to fill. But I do love to cook. See, I'm from New Orleans; a good meal and a good buzz are my God-given birthrights. Sharing those pleasures is my inherent cultural responsibility, or at least that's what my granny said, and she never lies.

Passing over a sand dune on a well-worn boardwalk, I finally spot the ocean disappearing into an early-morning fog. Squawking seagulls fly by. The waves break on dark brown sand, leaving dried seaweed and thousands of tiny seashells washed up along the beach.
Big Croppa finds a mine full of Bling and reveals the new strain that's spreading like wildfire and shining like ice all over the world.
Most people mine for gold and rare crystals. Other people mine for nuggets and Bling. For a jewelry dealer on Broadway, there's nothing more lucrative than a handful of diamonds. For a dealer on "Shakedown Street," there's nothing hotter than a handful of Bling, one of the most sought-after strains on the East Coast.
Spain is quickly becoming acknowledged as the newest and most exciting frontier in cannabis-seed breeding. Recently, HIGH TIMES spoke to the up-and-coming Eva Seeds to find out why.

THE MEDICINAL MOVEMENT AS SUPPORTED BY ADVANCED NUTRIENTS
THE URBAN GROWER
Every so often, there comes a proponent of the cannabis industry who does more than just provide excellent products for cultivation. Sometimes a distributor or manufacturer will go beyond the call of duty and align itself with what we at HIGH TIMES like to call "the Good Cause."
He’s part clown, part firebrand, and utterly fearless. When comedian Katt Williams takes the stage, he becomes a veritable buzz saw ripping through pretense and exposing the elemental humor in this earthly journey we all share. He has been embraced by black and white audiences alike and has been compared (prematurely, he believes) to some of the greatest comedians of the recent past. He’s appeared in movies, television and music videos, but the nightclub stage is where Katt thrives. His new DVD, The Pimp Chronicles Part 1, is a tour de force of comic mayhem that is rocketing his career toward new heights.
You’re famous for saying outrageous things in your act—
Like torching Michael Jackson, for example. Has there been a backlash to your comedy?
Two black head coaches appeared in this year’s Super Bowl for the first time, but some journalists noted that the story was greeted without a lot of fanfare. Do you think racism is diminishing in this country?
As a comedian whose fame is rising, there must be a lot written about you that’s annoying.
We were amazed to find out how big your family is.
So what do you try to teach eight kids?
Have you thought about what your ultimate goal is?
It didn't really occur to me until I was onstage for the first time. You don't really consider it a talent as a child; you're just a goofy child. I was silly and I was really smart-alecky. My upbringing was very strict at the house, so I used school as my playground.
Some say Las Vegas is magical. The faux New York City skyline is just down the Strip from the faux Roman architecture of Caesars Palace, which is just down the Strip from Treasure Island, where pirates swashbuckler nightly alongside bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Although they didn't grow the buds that took top prize at the Kyushu Ku, the seeds for LA Confidential are a creation of DNA Genetics. Don and Aaron, the co-owners, were thrilled to add another award to their growing portfolio. It was the continuation of a winning streak that began in 2004, when they took third place in the Indica category for LA Confidential at the Cannabis Cup.

Ever think about just saying “The hell with it!" and starting up your own little grow closet? It's something that crosses every stoner's mind at some point or other, and we here in the Cultivation Department love to hear stories about soldiers fighting the good fight... especially when those soldiers are also teaching the future pot growers of America.
IN THE PAST...
A STONER'S DREAM COME TRUE
THE HAPPY HARVEST
I love weed, but I’ve never been big on paying for it. That's why I used to sell weed back in college, so that I could support my habit. It's simple: If an ounce of sinsemilla costs $250 and you can sell it for $320, then just sell $250 of it and you'll have $70 worth of pot left over to smoke, at no cost to yourself.
New technology in vaporization by Vaporstar gives smokers bigger tokes with better health. Utilizing a patented bowl-cap design that allows for vaping with any standard flame, the Vaporstar delivers hits through a glass pipe. Similar in shape to a small bong, the Vaporstar is waterless and light for easy portability. Because of the unique design of the cap's interior and top stem, herbs are easily heated to vapor without ever being singed by flame. The back of the pipe features a shotgun hole for easy clearing. The Vaporstar is also available without the pipe, as just the stem, bowl and VP cap. A tweezer tool is included with either set-up, for removing and handling the hot VP cap.
Giros Mini Clip
Cutting the leaves off buds requires a lot of repetitive motion, leading to blisters and symptoms of carpal-tunnel syndrome. The Giros Mini Clip, with its spring-back technology and stainless-steel surgical blades, keeps trimmers happy throughout long and tedious harvests. The Mini Clip is light, cheap and easy to clean, making it perfect for many chores around the house as well as the growroom, where it's perfect for selective pruning. When it comes to actually trimming pot, the Mini Clip keeps going and going. Extra tip: The ridges on the handles quickly fill with sticky trichomes; scrape them out for a pipeful of fresh and spicy "scissor hash."
Got pests? Or maybe you want to check out your trichomes and drool over the crystal formations? I have a female plant that just went into a 12/12-hour day/night schedule and has gone into pre-flowering. I am using a regular fluorescent lightbulb (the spiral kind). How long do you think it will be until I start to see buds? How much do you think I will yield?
Transplant clones and seedlings—it's not too late! Warm climates present the biggest challenge when transplanting tender clones and seedlings. Always make sure to harden off the tittle plants when you move them outdoors. To increase their odds of survival and increase harvest weight, make sure your transplants have big root systems.
