FOUR-STROKE OIL COOLER
An easily fitted oil-cooler radiator which fits BSA, Norton, Triumph or almost any four-stroke with separate oil tank is now available from Paul Kinch.
With the increasing use of freeways and super highways for long distance touring, engines are given a much harder life than was the case a few years ago.
Lubrication is all important-and it is essential that the oil be kept as cool as possible for more effective lubrication and prolonged engine life.
The Paul Kinch oil-cooler kit gives you everything you need to make a conversion on your machine. All you do is mount the radiator in the airstream and divert the returning oil through it. The radiator can be horizontal, vertical-even upside down—and is secured to the frame or tank mounting lug by rubber mountings and adjustable rubber strips.
The oil cooler, which is similar to that fitted to all new BSA and Triumph three-cylinder machines, costs only $31.50 including airmail from England.

The soaring crime rate and the increased use of recreational vehicles is requiring greater security, and owners are finding it necessary to lock their mounts.
The McKay Co. has introduced a case hardened security chain that is virtually impossible to cut with ordinary tools, bolt cutters or hack saw.
The chain comes in a variety of sizes (from 1/4 by 3 to 1/2 by 5), and is available with a heavy neoprene coating to protect paint and chrome surfaces from scratches.
Details and prices are available to distributors and dealers from Teledyne McKay, Dept. CW-1, 1005 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
LAKE BEARING PLATE
Lake Research and Development is introducing a new product which they claim reduces or eliminates several problems for BSA and Triumph owners.
Lake bearing plates can help prevent primary chain breakage, clutch hub vibration and related problems, missed shifts, and lost power due to friction and drag caused by transmission misalignment.
Bearing plates are now available for 250, 500 and 650 Triumphs and for 250, 441, 500, and 650 BSAs. The suggested retail price is $19.95.
Lake bearing plates can be purchased from local dealers, or contact Lake R& D, Dept. CW-1, Box 909, Lake Isabella, CA 93240.

SADDLEBAG MOUNTS FROM BATES
There is good news for touring riders from Bates Industries; they have just announced a saddlebag mounting kit for the Honda 750.
Until now, fitting saddlebags on the Honda Four has been a problem because of the high angle of the dual mufflers. But the new kit allows owners to mount either standard or king-size Bates cycolac saddlebags. Mounting kits are also available to fit the BMW 750 and the Suzuki 500. Like the Honda kit, either standard or large saddlebags may be fitted.
For further information, consult your local Bates dealer.
